Dr. Eva Siegmann is the Director of the Center, where she leads efforts to advance high-performance computing and its applications in solving global challenges. With a strong background in mathematics, Dr. Siegmann has dedicated her career to bridging theoretical frameworks with computational innovation.
Over the years she served in various roles (Chair of the ACCESS Resource Provider Forum, Associate Director of the Arm HPC user Group, Deputy Chair of the CUG Programming Environments, Applications and Documentation Special Interest Group, Lead Research Scientist on the NSF funded Ookami testbed, Principal Investigator of the ByteBoost Cybertraining, etc.). Her extensive experience in leadership, research, and interdisciplinary collaboration makes her uniquely qualified to guide SBUSC in its mission to advance supercomputing innovation.
